Tim Stevens

After spending twenty years as the Executive Pastor at Granger Community Church and six years as the Vice President of Consulting at Vanderbloemen Search Group, Tim joined the team at Willow Creek Community Church in 2020 as Executive Pastor. Willow had just experienced a catastrophic leadership failure that had been on the front page of the New York Times. Trust was broken, relationships fractured, finances were bleeding, lawsuits were flying. It was a very difficult time for the church — and then a global pandemic dealt what should have been a death blow.

Tim’s heart for people and strategic mind led him to uproot his family and move to Chicago to help in the rebuild and turnaround for this once world-impact church. Prior to this, he had written seven books and was consulting churches around the country — but God called him to help rebuild a thriving church in the Chicago area.
